1. Program Overview

KinTrades (a product of KinTech, LLC) is a skilled trades hiring platform that connects workers with employers. When you opt in to SMS notifications, KinTrades may send you text messages about:

• Job match notifications and conditional offer alerts
• Hiring updates and required employment documentation
• Platform information and reminders

Messages are only sent in response to user-initiated activity on the KinTrades platform, such as registering for an account, applying for an opportunity, or progressing through an employer hiring workflow.

By opting in to KinTrades SMS notifications, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.

2. How You Opt In (Consent)

SMS consent is collected in two ways on the KinTrades platform. In both cases, consent is never pre-checked and is not required to use KinTrades.

KinTrades maintains records of SMS consent, including the date, time, and method of opt-in. Consent is collected before any SMS message is sent and may be retained for compliance purposes.

2.1 During Account Registration

When creating a KinTrades account, after entering your phone number, you are presented with a separate, unchecked checkbox to opt in to SMS notifications. You must actively check this box to consent. The SMS opt-in language shown during registration is reproduced below:

After registration, you can enable or disable SMS notifications at any time from your profile notification settings using a toggle switch:

3. Message Frequency

Approximately 1–5 messages per month. Message frequency may vary based on your job search activity and employer interactions. You will not receive marketing or promotional spam.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. KinTrades does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Check with your carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages from KinTrades at any time using any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP to any KinTrades text message
• Toggle off SMS notifications in your Profile Settings
• Email us at support@kintrades.com with your phone number and a request to opt out

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message: "You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."

Opting out of SMS does not affect your KinTrades account. You can continue using the platform normally.

KinTrades SMS messages are supported on all major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

Your phone number and SMS consent status are used solely for delivering KinTrades text messages. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is shared with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely for message delivery.
